Assignment: Poster for Dance

Objectives: Create a poster with skillful presentation, advertising techniques and information to promote attendance for the Valentine Dance.

Instructions: Create a large poster board with the following information

1. The Dance Title (make sure they know what the poster is for :)

2. Date of Dance

3. Advertising Material (your discretion)

Poster must meet the following requirements

1. Large Poster Board

2. Neat hand writing/ or typed if desired

3. Easy to read the information

4. Organized / Well Designed / Advertisement Material

5. Nice color theme, and appropriate decorations (which add to and Don't distract from theme)

6. Posted/ hung in the hallway by lunch on 1/27

Due Date: Tuesday 1/24

Assignment: Five Assembly Ideas

Objectives: Prepare a list of ideas so that you can effectively participate in group planning.

Instructions: Make a basic list with five games/activities for the assembly. It does not need to be detailed or planned rather just a list of game/activity names. Further detail will be added later so don't over complicate this.

Due Date: Wednesday 1/25

Assignment: Poster Materials and Design

Objectives: We will be taking time in class to make posters for the dance, thus it is crucial that you bring the materials for your poster to class this day. It is advised that you bring a general plan for your poster to 1) ensure that you have the materials 2) to make class time more efficient 3) to spend class doing and not talking.
